Phoenix Card lets you enjoy low international calling rates and good voice reception to some 200 destinations around the world from any telephone, mobile phone and even payphone in Singapore. And with no monthly subscriptions and statements, you’ll enjoy greater savings!
Call Direct (PIN-Free) – After registering, simply dial a common Singapore-based 8-digit number from your registered phone number. You will be prompted to dial the overseas telephone number (Country Code + Area Code + telephone number + # Key) you wish to call. Phoenix Card rates apply
Call Direct (PIN-Based) – Dial the PIN-Based Access Number from any telephone, payphone or mobile in Singapore. When prompted by the operator, proceed to enter the 12-Digit PIN followed by the overseas telephone number (Country Code + Area Code + telephone number + # Key) you wish to call. Phoenix Card rates apply.
Note: Call Direct (Pin-Free) does not support phone numbers registered with CALLER NUMBER NON-DISPLAY (CNND) or PRIVATE NUMBER with service providers.

How do I call overseas with PhoenixCard?
Just follow the simple steps at the back of the card:
To Register / Top-up
a. Dial 6347 9966 with the phone line you wish to register
b. Select Language
c. Enter PIN#
To make a call using PIN-Free
a. Dial 6347 4488 from your registered phone line
b. Dial Country Code + Area Code + Tel No + #
To make a call using PIN
a. Dial 6347 4488 or 1800-3474488
b. Select language
c. Enter PIN#
d. Dial Country Code + Area Code + Tel No + #
Notes
- Calls can be made from any phone. (Including mobile and public phones.)
- Surcharge is applicable only when dialling 1800 347 4488 from a payphone.
- PLEASE DO NOT INSERT THE CARD INTO A PUBLIC PHONE. Mobile airtime charge is still applicable (levied by mobile operators) when calling overseas using PhoenixCard. To make calls from a hotel, dial 6347 4488 as hotel may charge usage of ‘1800’ numbers.
What are the denominations available?
PhoenixCards are available in stored value of $10.
Where can I purchase PhoenixCards?
PhoenixCards are available at most convenience stores and money changers.
Do I get charged for busy, unanswered calls?
Unanswered calls are not charged. However, if the call is answered by a voice mail, fax machine, computer or answering machine, it is considered a connected call and charges apply.
How long can I talk?
Your talk time depends on the value/balance left in your card and the destination you are calling.
Note: Rates to overseas fixed line and mobile are different for some destinations. Please refer to our online rates table for more information.
What are the languages available?
The pre-recorded languages to guide you along when you use the PhoenixCard are available in English, Chinese, Malay, Tamil and Japanese.
Can calls be made from a mobile phone?
Yes, calls can be made from a mobile phone; however, normal mobile service “air-time” is still chargeable by your mobile service provider.
What if I have problems using the card?
Simply email us at whiz1516@whizcomms.com.sg when you encounter any problems with your PhoenixCard.
Do the rates apply throughout the day?
Yes. Our rates apply 24 hours a day.

Can the card be used for local calls?
Yes, PhoenixCard can be used to make local calls. Just remember to add country code ’65’.
Is there an expiry date?
Yes, the expiry date is 6 months from registration/top-up. All registration/top-up must be done on/before the expiry date printed at the back of the card.
How am I charged for my usage?
The charging blocks are as follows:
- For destinations with calling rates at 10 cents or below, minimum charge per call is 60 seconds and subsequent block charge is 120 seconds.
- For destinations with calling rates above 10 cents, it’ll be on 60 seconds block charge.
- There will be a surcharge only when dialing 1800 from payphone.
How do I know the remaining value of my card?
Simply dial 1800 347 4488 or 6347 4488 followed by your PIN. The system will announce the remaining value. If you do not wish to make any call, just hang up at this point.
What is surcharge?
Surcharge is normally levied for making 1800-number calls from public phones. (For example: By dialling 1800 347 4488 from public phone.)
No surcharge if dialling 6347 4488 from public phone.
Surcharge rate varies according to destinations.
No surcharge for calls from any local fixed line or mobile phone.
